Terms of Service
Last updated: August 9, 2026
These terms cover our websites — berimbaunyc.com and secondfloor.berimbaunyc.com — and anything you buy through them. They are an agreement between you and Berimbau Brazilian Table. If something here does not sit right with you, please write to us before you buy.
Who we are
Berimbau Brazilian Table is a Brazilian restaurant with two rooms in New York City: West Village, at 43 Carmine St, and 36th Street, at 3 West 36th Street. Second Floor is our live music room above the 36th Street dining room. Reach us any time at info@berimbaurestaurant.com.
Buying a ticket
Tickets to Second Floor shows are sold by us, for shows we host in our own room. When you buy, you pick a specific seat for a specific set, or for both sets of the night. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay: the ticket, plus the card processing fee shown as its own line. We do not add a service fee on top.
Your seats are held for ten minutes while you check out. If the clock runs out, they go back on the map for someone else.
Your ticket is the QR code in your account. Please have it ready at the door. One code admits the seats named on it, once.
The room, the night, the music
Doors, set times and the artist on stage are listed on each show page. Line-ups can change — musicians get sick, flights get cancelled. If we have to swap the artist, the show still runs and the ticket stands. If we cancel the night entirely, see our refund policy.
Second Floor is a listening room. We ask for the kind of quiet that lets a nylon string be heard. We may ask anyone who makes that impossible to leave, without a refund.
Guests under 21 are welcome with an adult. Anyone ordering alcohol will be asked for ID.
Tips for the artists
You can send a tip to the musicians playing that night, with a message and a song request if you like. Tips are paid to Berimbau and passed along to the performers as part of what we pay them for the night. We keep nothing from a tip beyond the card processing fee we are charged.
Your message goes to the artist only. Nobody else in the room sees it, and the artist decides what to do with it. Song requests are wishes, not obligations — a set is a set. Tips are final and not refundable.
Keep messages kind. Anything abusive, threatening or commercial gets dropped by the artist, and we may block the account behind it.
Your account
You need an account to buy a ticket, so that we can hand you your QR code and find your order when something goes sideways. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login. Ask us any time to close the account.
Things we have to say
We do our best to keep prices, dates and seat maps accurate. Mistakes happen; if a price or a seat is listed wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honor an error.
Our responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
We may update these terms as the room grows. The date at the top tells you when we last did.
