We collect what we need to seat you, take your payment and let you know when something changes about your night. Nothing more, and we do not sell any of it.

What we collect

When you buy a ticket: your name, email, the show, the seats and the amount. If you signed in with Google, we get your name and email from Google — nothing else.

When you tip an artist: the name you type, the amount, your message and any song request.

When you subscribe or write to us: your email, and whatever you tell us in the message.

Automatically: the usual web basics — pages visited, rough location by IP, device and browser — so we know which shows people are looking at and whether the site is working.

Never your card. Card numbers go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. They never touch our servers. We see the last four digits and whether the charge worked.

What we do with it

Seat you, send your ticket, refund you when needed, and email you about the show you bought. If you subscribed to the newsletter, we also write about what is coming up — with an unsubscribe link in every message.

We look at aggregate numbers to decide which nights work and which artists to bring back. That view is counts and totals, not people.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payments. Google Firebase stores accounts and orders. Vercel serves the site. Google Analytics tells us how the site is used. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job.

The artist playing that night sees the tips sent to them: the name you typed, the amount, your message and your request. They do not get your email or your card details.

We share nothing else, and we never sell your information. We hand data over to authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Orders and payment records stay seven years — tax law asks for that. Account details stay while your account is open. Newsletter emails stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics rolls off after fourteen months.

Your say

Write to info@berimbaurestaurant.com and ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. We answer within thirty days. Deleting your account does not erase records of paid orders, which the tax rules make us keep.

If you are in California, the CCPA gives you these rights explicitly, including the right not to have your information sold — which is easy for us, because we never do.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, to remember the seats you are holding, and to count visits through Google Analytics. Blocking analytics cookies in your browser costs you nothing on this site. Blocking the sign-in cookie means you cannot check out.

Children

Our sites are not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything about them. If you believe a child gave us information, write to us and we will delete it.
